Try using the editor as a standalone app instead of a plugin.

Using the 2 DVD set from the Kronos X should be ok. Not sure what version they would be listed as, but probably will work anyway. Try a different usb stick for the authorisation file and make absolutely sure to follow the exact procedure as per the user manual. It can be so easy to miss a step etc ...

Without knowing what you have actually tried out,I still think the major problem relates to missing drivers and a few subsequent settings.
However, alland and mrfudge have Kindly provided detailed guides for these, you should now be able to sort things out.

Just some additional notes that may help. In cubase go to Studio Set Up. Then into MIDI Port Set Up. This will provide a list of all active midi devices. OR Create a midi track and check the inspector part. This will also provide a list of all midi devices. If the Kronos is not listed….it will c ...
