There is now way to compare apples and pears but you must understand what instrument the SV-1 is! SV stands for "stage vintage" and is not a jack of all trade axe! The SV-1 is excellent to emulate both the Rhodes and Wurlitzer electric pianos and don't forget the Electric Grand by Yamaha and Pianet ...

Hi Rexy and stemart You are right! Today I have tested several keyboards, and can only agree that the RH3 have an very odd key off point. The RH3 has the key off position only 1/4 up from depressed position. Real pianos have their key off point 4/5 up from depressed position. Even my organ ...

Any pair of active PA-speakers will do on stage. It's just a matter of preferences. In the US QSC K-12 is popular for keyboard monitoring.
In Europe RCF have a wide range of sutable alternatives in their ART serie.

I have owned and played a SV-1 73 for a full year and have no problems what so ever. Sounds and OS updates has been done with my computer running Linux off a CD instead of Windows 7 64-Bit. Editor works fine with Windows 7. I must say that I'm still in love with the SV-1 73. It's truly a ...

Hi Shaun
You can't trigger organ with weighted action keyboards in a proper way.
Even Clavia has released a shortboard of Nord 3 with weighted keys.
There is never gonna be a jack of all trade keyboard on the makret!
You need an organ!

From the manual!
Power supply Internal switching adapter, AC100~240V, 50/60Hz

The PS is selfadjusting with inputs from 100V to 240V at 50 or 60 Hz.
There shoud be no problem what so ever to connect the unit in Australia.

To much gain with 12AX7

Has anybody changed the 12AX7 (ECC83) to a 12AU7 (ECC82) or 12AT7 (ECC81)? The 12AX7 is to hard to control in a musical way in the SV-1.
