Anyone have the pinouts /sketchout of the EXB-DI that is nowhere to be found?
Pictures make it look like a fairly straightforward affair to piece one together.

in stock form, the pads are assigned particular chords. In researching this, I discovered that the assignment of chords, or even keys isn't done by highlighting a particular 'place' on the note listing for a pad and pressing a key, but you have to use the wheel to select the note; lame. So, setting ...

what key are the pads in, in jazzy singers?
Trying to figure this out.
Might be a good list for the other pad assignments. However, it seems that the pads are not 'mix&match' like karma is; they seem fixed to the particular program/combo.
Thanks!

I think what we should take from the tenor of the korg guys is that we're screwed when the day comes that we are in the position of having to revive these things. They're not going to just let people (let alone help) who spent large sums of money on something keep their investment going unless its ...

Well, clearly I'm getting this information late. Looks like Korg is pulling a SEGA. I read some re-assurance from jerrythek that Korg will carry through financial troubles. Who cares? I paid bank for this 88 key behemoth and now its abandoned after 3 years. That really wasn't the song your salesmen ...

Launch quantization of karma
The most important thing, that I can think of is that you have to add quantize to the karma switching. Ableton Live has this. And, the ESQ1's sequencer had this. Currently, the thing is a bit unwieldly in trying to hit any one of the 16 switches in perfect time and while playing something. Being ...

back in the day, these proggys were written for their target processor, some, or at least components of them, in machine language. In the Atari's case, this would be either a 6502 or 65816. Porting that would be a pain in the butt. Plus, the code would be communicating directly to the port of the ...

LOL ... I thought that was what the fancy Combi's were for ? Yea, like patch '00'; I call it, "the idea killer" because once you hear that patch, you completely forget why you turned the keyboard on. Like walking in to a Tower Records knowing what you want to get. But whatever they're playing, once ...

Another thought is that if Korg would work out a license with Ableton (for example) it would mean that those of us who occasionally are on the road (or plane) could continue to compose (more easily) with a laptop; working out the final arranging/production later by copying the Live-file to the OASYS ...

I also feel that KORG have not done much with them since the release of the M1. It’s all very much he same to me. By that I mean considering the number of years between the M1 and the Triton Series, I feel we certainly haven’t seen 16 + years of development gone into the sequencer. Well said. As I e ...
