Ok, I'm able to reproduce a stable error now at least. It doesn't seem like how long the O has been powered on is the issue, but rather how long it's been since i pressed the screen. If i leave it for some minutes, I can do 2-3 properly aligned presses before it wanders off. I'm starting to think ...

The issue has resurfaced. The touch function now works as expected for a short time after power off, then after some minutes it registers either correctly (if i press hard) or with an offset (if i press lightly), then after some more minutes, only with the offset. It is strange. I'm thinking ...

I fixed it, somehow.

By using the very tip of my fingernail i managet to calibrate it once, then it was pretty easy to calibrate one more time. It's ok now, but if it drifts any more, it's gonna be a problem :/

Re: OASYS touch screen Y axis way off, and cannot calibrate

1. Select “Touch Panel Calibration” to open the dialog box. 2. If you are unable to select this command from the page menu, go to the main Global page as normal, and then hold down the ENTER button and press 3 on the numeric keypad. This will call up the calibration dialog. [/i] Hi. Thanks for the s ...

OASYS touch screen Y axis way off, and cannot calibrate

Hi. I was wondering if anyone have a suggestion to solving my problem: The Y axis on my touch screen is way off. At 0 (the top) it is ok, but as I go down the screen, there is an increasing offset. At the bottom it is like 1/4 of the screen, so touching the very button hits somewhere around the ...

AL-1 will probably stay in the shadow as long as there aren't more examples of what you can achieve with it. Tweaking from there would be easier to do, than to program from zero, working your way through many subpages, without ever having a concise sound shaping overview. IIRC the AL-1 was one of ...

Concerning AL-1: I think this is the most underrated engine in the Kronos, because many of us need a while to detect it's great potential. (...) The problem is that you need a lot of programming skill to really use it's potential. The best thing which could happen to AL-1 would be a series of ...

It is nothing than a self-comforting fairy tale that a Kronos is hardly more than a cheaper Oasys - despite the cheaper hardware build quality of the Kronos. And I ask myself when these futile comparisons, ignoring or belittling the essential development steps of the Kronos over the Oasys, will ...

2.is the Kronos better than the oasys? Lovely question, and I'll try to answer it (but bear in mind that my answer might be a slight mix of personal theories mixed with the facts). The answer is: Yes. And no. The O and The K are pretty much identical in their capabilities, with only minor ...

And - you mention a point that should be addressed. Right now, us OASYS owners are feeling pretty weird about Kronos. If you look at the OASYS forum - we've noticed that Korg have not mentioned, even once, that Kronos has come from OASYS - Kronos is identical to OASYS in almost every regard except ...
