hey wisdomseeker,
i think you gotta remember you're working with the constraints of a 16 step sequencer for your patterns, 4 more steps than a real sq10 (which is a 12 or 24 step sequencer)!!! that's the joy of vintage analogue, which this is modelled on!!

hey rachel, as hazabikit pointed out, both the camera connecting kit and av cable require the dock connection port, so you cant use both!! why not invest in the alesis io? if its for live work, then it'll provide you with the right balanced connections to hook up to a PA or amp, as well as being a ...

I think the problem may lay in the keyboard assignement. The KB should only be routed to the sequencer to control the pitch. If the KB is also routed to the ims20, then the ims20 may obey the KB first instead of the seq. Is it possible to deassign the KB from/to the ims20? hey axxim, no, i don't ...

Hi alex, even if I have no iMS, MS series nor real patchable synths, I would say that you need to sum the voltages from your KB and sequencer together and apply it to the VCO to get the sequence transposed. You need to add KB voltage to the patching. Maybe you try routing Out-A to In1, the KB ...

okay, the penny's just dropped!!! i created a basic sequence of 8 notes and let it run!!! i then noticed that when i changed the button of sequencer from notes to parameter, the sequence stayed the same!!! i'm wondering if this is where my answer lies?

hey dis chord, on the real ms20 & sq10, the set up is as follows: 1. patch the multiple out trigger on the sq10 to the trigger in on the ms20 2. patch channel a on the sq10 to the freq. in on the ms20, set the pots to the desired value! these will give the sequence it's note value! 3. patch channel ...

seriously, can nobody help me here? is it even possible? the patch section operates as on a real ms20, so why can i not connect the sequencer as i would on a real one, in the same way? what is the function of the multiple out on the sequencer?
