I doubt that Korg is logging anything at all (they can't even save a sample to memory of 24 MB). I highly doubt that too. If changing the header of a file is enough to hack the machine then they obviously did not implement any safeguard against corrupted files at all. This means that if the ...

Re: md5 checksum request

Thanks to Poumtschak and Telengard! You improved your karma today. Everybody can now check their modified files before messing with their firmware. I got the same checksum and my files are working! Laugh it up! Well at least your $400 paperweight will make a nice conversion piece. The joke is on you ...

Re: md5 checksum request

I tried to modify the files yesterday, but only found three numbers to be different in the header and not four like the hacking manual says. Could someone of you with working files (e2 to e2s and e2s to e2) provide the md5 checksums of these files. People like me would then be able to check if we ...

Anyone here know German...can some one translate? Everything this guy said is already known. He basically said that it should be available soon and that you can play samples with it. But he also said that the user samples are saved onto the SD card, so I don't get why there is this 270 seconds ...

Re: SQ-1 and Ms-20 Mini question

I have the SQ-1 and the MS-20 Mini. I'm not getting any slide when I have it set to CV slide (the SQ-1 is connected to the MS-20 through the VCO 1 + 2 CV in and Trig in jacks). When I switch over to slide and select steps to slide it basically just turns them off! Am I doing something wrong here ...

Compared to the MS20 the Monotribe is like a little insane brother. Yes it is quite insane to have no envelope making a free click with every note played non-legato. What produces clicks? The Monotribe when played on its own or when triggerd by and fed into the MS20? You wrote "no envelope", so I ...

Maybe you could feed the signal of the sync output to him. :-k It gives you one click per beat.

There are a number of videos on youtube showing the ms-20 being used with a montribe. OK, I just didn't know that the av-cable method is already widely known out there, because it took me some time to figure it out on my own. After I get more versed with the 20.. Im considering buying one ...

using a video cable for sequencing a monotribe with a MS20

you can use a video cable for connecting a monotribe to a MS20mini. I didn't find any mention of this method anywhere so far, so I thought it could be interesting for some of you. Plug a video mini jack cable that has those yellow, red and white cinch endings into the monotribe and connect the ...

Use the Kaoss-Pad

Actually I'm using the Kaoss-Pad for resetting the synth sequencer. Just push record and make sure to keep pushing the right spot on the pad. Et voilà! :-)
