Noob Question: Organs

hi, sorry this is a noob question When I start playing a stanard organ program preset it sounds flat. I'm glad this was posted because I was having this trouble too. I am also a complete M50 noob! I just spent the past 30 mins going through the Tone Adjust menu. I have noticed loads of programs have lots and lots of reverb, so I normally have to turn down Control 3 (on B) to cut it short, although ...

How do I know how to save it? What needs saving? Does that mean I will lose absolutely everything? And does it include settings too with programs/combis etc?

If you are worried about the keys and want portability, try out a Yamaha MOX8. When I made this decision only last week, I couldn't decide: M50 or MOX? (The MOX8 is an 88-key piano-style keybedded synth but is INCREDIBLY light!) However, why did I pick the M50?? Price and looks! I got mine second ...

Hit the drop down tab at the top right of the screen to write the program to a new location. Easy Breezy. and check the memory protection is off. i guess you have a PCG file that is not the factory one (if you check voice list file, from E096 on, the locations are all empty), anyway this is not a ...

I would be interested to know how you set up your favourites/way of getting to sounds for gig easily? I already wrote in another thread ( http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=66011 ) ... I use only combis. For every song in our song-book i have own combi ... it is easy, when we ...

anyway if you use it for church maybe you need something more organ-oriented? Not really. It's more upbeat and contemporary. From the practises I've been too it's mainly pads/strings and some keyboard sounds. What about software and interface? I've read about it freezing on this forum ... and if I ...

Is the M50 still worth getting?

Hi all, Being new to whole 'keyboard crowd' I figured a forum like this could be useful. Basically, I am just starting out and need a synthesiser for my church worship band and maybe for use in my music courses. Currently, I'm an avid piano player (Grade 5 in the UK if that means anything to you ...
