It was a sax repair shop, that happened to have one standing there. They usually don't sell pianos, so you won't find one there anymore. I won't name them here, since the shop owner has been nothing but helpfull in trying to resolve the issue with Korg.

if korg chose to use a Fully modified keybed version or not to help iron out the issues noone knows for sure Which is kinda bad marketing, if you ask me. Why be silent if it is such a minor issue? I use 2 x Mackie TH-15A. They're dirt cheap for what you get: lots of power, great warm sound and they are leightweight (sort of).

My findings after one day of using the fixed keybed: -no more bouncing keys -the key travel distance has become shorter because of the new rubber contacts -dynamics have decreased because of this (when I record the midi data coming from the SV1 the loudest velocity I can produce is around 110) So ...

My SV1 is being repaired this afternoon. I'm picking it up later today and will report if it worked!

Tried out the new reverse key edition (88 keys) in a music store, with the intention of buying it to replace my old SV1 with the cutoff note problem. Unfortunately it had the same problem (even worse than mine)....

When playing softly, I get the double triggering on a lot of keys (high and low). If the repair will fix that, it will be the best stage piano ever...

FINALLY! I have an appointment for the repair for wednesday next week. Two days before a radio gig, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
