Why not take the current screen, and simply lengthen the leads with an extender, put a frame of your choice around the screen and mount it wherever you like? In it's current position, but raised, or on a swing out mounting station, a la ipad, nano etc... Your reply does not help...because that is ...

I don't think it's every possible to do this. The OS is proprietry and chances to modify it to get the VGA to work is very small. Right, there would be no OS modifications, this "VGA port" would not be used, only hardware modifications to extend whatever tethers exist from the body of the Kronos to ...
