I updated from OS v1.0.0 to v1.0.4 last night. It didn't take very long at all. After updating I loaded all the preload data as the update doc suggested. Everything seems to work fine. Nothing seems degraded or broken by the update. I like my Krome so much I purchased an extra authentic Krome OS SD ...

Thank you, Koekepan. I am very happy with the krome. I really like the sequencer too, it's the best that I've found on a keyboard workstation. It is feature packed without being clumsy or get in the way of creativity. Quick to lay down tracks and edit them. I hooked my sp-250 up to it today, worked ...

New Krome owner saying hi. The Krome is a nice workstation.
Hello all. I recently picked up a used Krome 61 in GREAT condition at a pawn shop for $450 USD. It doesn't have a scratch on it, and the screen is flawless. There are no clicking noises when playing, so its internal card must be working correctly. The currently installed OS is 1.0.0. I'm guessing ...

This is a late thanks, but thanks for the reply wpostma. I ended up selling my TR to raise some quick cash. When I had it I used the dark piano patch on one of lower banks, but copied an A bank effect for it (either piano or drum, can't recall now), tweaked the EQ a little and got a much more usable ...

What's the best piano sound for Korg TR available now?
I've recently purchased a good Korg TR-88, and 64mb ram for it, and am looking for the most realistic piano sample I can find for it. Most of the posts I've read here concerning piano samples are so old the links they contain are no longer working. I was wondering what options there are in 2018 are ...

Thanks for posting how to enter full test mode. I was wondering if there's any chance of rendering a keyboard non-functioning if messing with the full test mode improperly. I purchased a used TR from GuitarCenter and want to make sure it's fully OK, so I thought when it's delivered I may put it in ...

Got a Korg M50-61. Nice workstation. No freezing problem.
Hi. New M50 user here. I picked up a used Korg M50 61 key Limited Edition (Red) in like new condition for under $400. Didn't know much about them, but I'm a Korg fan and bought it on a whim. There's not a scratch on it. Looks brand new. After buying it I started reading the horror stories of the ...

New member saying hello
Hello. Glad this place is here to help KORG users like myself learn how to use the equipment.
I've had three KORG keyboards over the years: a T3, an 01W/FD, and just got a new MicroStation.
Looking forward to contributing here.
