Because the app will use SysEx and CC#s to communicate. Obviously there can be no set MIDI commands to trim a sample or load from a storage drive, for example. This is OS level stuff.

The drop down menu in Combi mode will say ‘Copy from Program’. Use this. It will bring all the FX associated with it (if you tick the right boxes )

As you add more Programs into your Combi, you have to be careful to append them, or change IFX routings to fit everything into the one Combi.
