Well what I would like to do is record the M3 sounds via midi. So I would choose a sounds from the M3 editor and record into a midi track as I would any VST instrument. So it I were to buy a the EXB-FW card for the M3 and use that instead of going through the MIDI and the Audio inputs, would that allow me to do what I'm trying to do?

I am using usb->midi and have my mono line out from the M3 going into the line in into the Firebox. The midi notes get recorded into cubase and if I hook up some headphones to the M3 I can hear the recorded notes. I want to be able to get the sound from the M3 recorded into cubase via midi. Hi I can't seem to figure out how to connect my M3 to my yamaha 01x do I use midi to connect them, etc..?

Hi, it seems I have everything setup correctly, but there is no sound coming out of the m3 editor when I launch the program in stand alone mode or as a vst.

I figured it out. I ended up updating the driver via windows device manager then reinstalled the driver

I am running windows xp 64bit. I've installed the korg driver 1.13 r6 PC and configured the drivers and installed the M3 Editor 221.

The M3 is recognized when I check under the driver uninstall and the korg usb midi driver program. But the M3 Editor is not recognizing the M3.

Please HELP!!
