I see that now the nano controllers map directly into the Korg Kronos but can I simultaneously use say a nano-pad plugged into the USB socket with something else plugged into the regular midi in?

Does anyone know if I can use a nanoKontrol to change timbre volume levels like a mixer? Please note, I mean if all the timbres in a combi were set to the Global channel.

One of the many advantages of Korg gear is the kbd plays the global channel. This has all the timbres (8 on the Triton, 16 on the Kronos) on one midi channel. I guess we all want the perfect keyboard. I have to agree with you, however much we complain or say we would like something to be improved, the Kronos comes pretty close to the ideal board.

One of the few things Roland has got right recently IMHO is providing iPad apps to programme the Jupiters and Integra-7. Maybe Korg could provide a free iPad app for the Kronos.
