that was supposed to be sarcastic. i also noticed my mono wav. files were not recognized. the manual says "stereo". should have figured.

i agree. the Mpeg player seems extremely weak and sorely missing some critical features for a player. internal music is a step up from the previous model but at least give us the basics: fast forward, rewind, repeat, next track, playlist, something. maybe it's all there in shortcuts?

i wanna say i got much better levels coming out the headphone jack. maybe (just a theory) since they used RCA jacks geared toward DJs, they may have dropped the levels to be more like a turntable's. i just know enough about the impedance issues with vinyls and phono inputs, etc. to know i don't know.

i too try to keep my music creations separate from my inevitable issues with my computer. but the hardware seems to still be dependant on the software and the firmware that i apparently need to buy a new computer to install. correction: i need to buy an old computer.

So i tried Theo's trick (record silence over an altered loop length to change it's properties) along with my Loop Load page thang and still could not increase the loop length, but there might be something there still. it's weird.

Critical Problem 1: the mic/line input button needs a Hold option so you don't have to keep pressing it with your finger just to maintain a signal. perhaps a toggle switch instead. Okay, some less obvious features: hold the [snd] button to scroll through sound groupings (LD, AC, BS, CH, etc) with the ribbon or - & +.
