PA300 Frozen Ensemble Track Assignment
The "Keyboard/Ensemble:Ensemble" page (105) for setting track assignments seems to be frozen with ensemble on upper 1, "on" and both upper 2 and upper 3 turned, "off". I am in style play and split mode per manual. Nothing I do will turn either upper 2 or upper 3 "on" or turn upper 1 "off". I have ...

Lost Rotary Speaker
I received my new PA300 late yesterday. I spent this morning getting familiar with the keyboard. I do a lot of church work and was VERY impressed with several of the organ sounds using the rotary speaker simulator. I had no trouble starting and stopping the rotary effect with a +Y push of the ...

Root Bass Added to Stop-Accompaniment Mode
I purchased a Korg microARRANGER in July 2012 and although I liked it a lot, I was unable to set it up to get a root bass note added to auto chords in “stop accompaniment mode”. “Stop accompaniment” is a term found in Yamaha owners manuals which describes a mode wherein all voices and features (such ...

microARRANGER user review
I have had my Korg microARRANGER for about nine months now. At first when I was on the very steep part of the learning curve (long-time Technics user) I was grasping at every Internet source I could find to help me with the not so user friendly OS. By now I have been using it as the main instrument ...

Annoying squeak in microArranger organ "programs"!
I am using the microArranger for church services but I have found that many of the desirable "programs" (aka voices) have an annoying very high pitched "squeak" which seems to be triggered by the act of depressing a key. It occurs on about 70% of the "programs" but doesn't always sound the same. The ...

Re: Creating a Custom Style
I agree that it should be/may be possible but I am still on the very steep part of the learning curve and creating custom styles seems to be way down the road for me. Reading about it in the (pardon the expression) user manual is quite intimidating.
Thanks for the encouragement though !!

"Stop Accompaniment" for microARRANGER
I have solved the problem but not exactly to my liking. I have gotten lazy over the years with the "stop accompaniment" function in Yamaha and Technics triggering the root bass note from the recognized chord. I talked with the Korg Customer Assistance line and the representative told me that the ...

Re: Stop Accompaniment
Hello Deane I tried what you suggested and it seemed to add the bass line as long as the "play" led was "ON". Even Though I set the tempo as low as possible, the string bass voice results in a glitch at the beginning of each new accompaniment measure (besides trailing off to nothing as the note ...

Using the microARRANGER in church.
I just received my microARRANGER this week and I am awash in the Reference Manual. I have been playing a Technics KN7000 for church services for about 10 years. It has (as do most Yamaha keyboards) a "stop accompaniment" function which will play the left hand accompaniment and root base voices with ...
