When I was a kid, this keyboard was hard to find and very expensive. It is very well worth the money. The type of music you make is probably the biggest of your concerns. Try looking on web for songs created on this dude and go from there.

In synth mode press RECORD then close all your gates above. Press RECORD again to stop recording.
