nothing wrong with alerting people of faults found but also alert people about ur failed research which is simple as watching a few videos on youtube to get a sense of the products limits and features Not to keep beating a dead horse, but "watching a few videos on youtube to get a sense of the ...

Sure, it could be due to a certain lack of research, but I would have never in a million years expected the kinds of short comings I feel this product is riddled with, so how would I know to investigate it? And surely you don't mean that there is something wrong with warning potential buyers against ...

To the OP and all the whiners tho at the end of the day take poopy or get off the potty ( I have 4 year olds at home so deal with poo allegories!) Seriously stop crying about the electribe and use it or get maschine or an mpc second hand! The end.!? Maybe I'm a whiner, or not, I just feel I've ...

I only have a electribe not the sampler BUT I can't help but notice that you are still comparing the E2 to gear 3 to 4 times more expensive! Jdxa is a completely different kind of instrument and the jdxi which is more in line with the E2 in terms of price is much less capable in terms of sequencing ...

No offense taken. I appreciate what you're saying, and as mentioned initially I was prepared for limitations. I just would never have imagined these types of limitations. I thought the biggest problem with the sampler was stuff like it not having song mode, only realtime recording of motion effects ...

I usually don't get bent out of shape when buying a dud, but this one really has me kind of angry. I would understand some of the limitations if there was an electribe pro that you could upgrade to, but this is a new version of a flagship drum sequencer/sampler. Thus you expect certain things to be ...

So I tried to save a "pattern set", by doing as mentioned - export all pattern. And yes it does save it, but when I quickly created another set and saved the new on, it only over wrote the previous one. So I'm still stuck with only being able to have one pattern set... What I meant was the ability ...

I'm very relieved to hear that. This makes all the difference in the world for me. I bought an Octatrack when they were new, which I sold because it was extremely complex, buggy and there was not much help online. Today I've been watching Octatrack tutorials, which actually explain it really well ...

Is the electribe sampler a bad joke?

I'm all for limitations, and don't expect a relatively inexpensive product to be on par with a hugely expensive one. But I think I'm feeling a bit of buyers remorse after buying the new electribe sampler. 1: The sampler part of the unit is less sophisticated than a middle of the road sampler from ...

Hey, please don't all answer at once;-) I understand, I'm sure you are sick of obvious (to you) Kronos-newbie questions. Am I correct in my assumption that recording midi from the Kronos only works if Local control is on - which then makes it kind of hard to use in a DAW environment? So the smart ...

Newbie Q: How to record drum patterns to Logic 9?

If anyone has the time, I would be greatly appreciative to have step by step instructions on this. I've finally gotten Kronos up and running with Logic, using combi-mode. I'm connected with USB - only for midi (sound routed through external mixer). I am not using the VST-thing as of yet. What I ...

Thanks for your insight, everybody. I have now been messing with this thing today - and OMG - the Kronos is crack! I think it will be amazing as a soundscaping tool, despite my initial slight skepticism. That is, if I can ever commit to anything, since I just keep going down these endless avenues of ...

This is one of the missing capabilities (program editing from sequencer mode) that are stopping me from purchasing KRONOS. I am used to editing (tweaking) patches from song/sequencer mode for more than a decade on Roland workstations. Yes, I'm used to having everything completely open ended and ...
