Anybody know if the keyboard action of newer kross any different than original one? I haven't been able to find kross 2 in local stores here, and years ago when trying kross 1, did NOT love the action (bit too "stiff" for me). BUT, all other things about it would make it still ok for me.

No! You can't remove the rack ears, they are part of the side walls of the unit

I just ordered one, and I'm sure I'll find out once it arrives, but just curious now: can I unscrew the rack mounting connectors on the sides of the unit? I probably won't be installing it in a rack case, at least at first, and just want to put it in my laptop case when traveling with it on a gig.

Still no help on this. Hasn't anyone done this? With other synths/racks, I'd guess you'd need to do similar or same (changing bank #, etc.)

I want to control my korg nx5r module with the ms, and specifically have the ms change the patches on the module. I need to know how to store the prog/combi info (the cc# or bank change #'s). If I can get this to work with my current module, I'd like to buy the triton rack and do same with that ...

I've tried the latest (2.5 or whatever). no luck, then tried the lowest upgrade (from the 1.???? on board). same no luck. Help! No pedals attached. Just got used triton. All seems great except can't change tracks. The touch screen, buttons, and dial work for changing patches in prog/comb mode but not for the sequencer???

Does anyone know how to use the MS as a controller, and specifically to change the programs/combos on my korg module (xs or x5dr something or other)? I know I have to get the MS to send a CC# of some sort in addition to program # change, but I can't figure out how. Once I know this works, I want to ...
