I don't know the answer but this topic interests me because in the future I will probably need to do the same - now I'm using external sampler with my M50.

My best guess is that it could be easily done with Mainstage - software.

...now ACTUALLY just remembered, there is a multi REC - mode in SEQ that allows Triton to send in multiple channels, useful for example when recording complex combi sound. Put that mode ON from settings and try, it might work indeed! Sorry for changing information all the time.

And when I set an external sound its key range and velocity settings are completely ignored, could you confirm that this happens similar to you? It happens when ext has the same midi channel of other int tracks (I have to play all with Triton keyboard so I have to set the channel on the Triton ...

Is the next combi to where you change, a Korg preset, or a preset you modified by adding a Roland sound to it?
