Hi,
I created a new song on the Kronos and then bounced all tracks to a WAV file. The operation seemed to work fine, except that the WAV file cut off at 4:59. This happened on 3 songs. Is there a 5 minute maximum length on bouncing songs to WAV?
Thanks,
Scott

Songs are disappearing...
Hi, I'm just starting to play with Songs and recording. I created 2 new songs, and per the manual I made sure to save the songs to disk before I shut down. When I turned the keyboard back on, the songs were still in disk, but they no longer showed up under "Songs". I had to reload them from disk. I ...

String harmonics/muted strings
I'm playing a production of "Les Mis" that calls for tons of string patches, including "string harmonics" and muted strings. I don't see direct patches for either of those. Does anyone know how to simulate a string harmonic effect or muted strings on the Kronos?

Switching between patches during performance?
Hi, I just got my Kronos 88 recently, and I'm wondering if there is a way other than using a foot pedal to easily go from one patch to the next during performance? I found that the foot pedal is very sensitive, so I sometimes ended up jumping 2 patches instead of going to the next one. Is there a ...

musical saw/theremin sound?
Does anyone know if the Kronos has any type of sound that could replicate a 'musical saw' or a theremin?
Thx,
Scott

Newbie question -- bootup time?
Hi, I've noticed that my Kronos 88 takes a full 3 minutes to boot up. I was hoping this wouldn't be an issue, but during a live performance last week, some roadie knocked out the power for a few seconds and the keyboard had to reboot. I was dead in the water for 3 minutes. Does anyone know a way to ...

Best way to find specific sounds?
Hi - with the hundreds/thousands of patches on the Kronos, is there a 'best practice' for locating a specific sound, or do you have to literally read through 20 pages of patches in the manual each time? For example, I need to see if there is a Mellotron patch or a Monosynth -- what's the easiest ...

Best organ sound for Elvis music?
Hi, I just got my Kronos 88 and am gearing up to play a show with Elvis Presley music where the part I'm playing is basically all organ. So I'm guessing it would be something like a Hammond B3. What is the best sound on the Kronos to approximate the Hammond? The book was written for actual organ, so ...

Issue with Combinations
I'm using Combinations for the first time, and I noticed that when I have a Combo consisting of 2 sounds, one being piano and one being something else, the volume of the piano is much lower than when I just play the piano by itself as a Program. I have all of the volume parms set to max levels on ...
