I find if you use all sounds from one manufacturer the mix starts to get a bit boring. If you write multiple pieces with one module and then compare them it gets downright monotonous. Sure you can tweak the mix with a few plug-ins here and there but I actually like to use different hardware synths ...

Does'nt bother me when people bag the Integra 7. They will never buy it and that means more for me. And when I'm playing those Supernatural sounds I really don't mind I have only 4 expansion slots. I like to mix The Motif sounds with the Roland because I find when you use several sounds from the one ...

Any comments that I have posted have been directed at the scores of unfair judgements made by posters of these 2 awesome keyboards. Some of these comments have been almost troll like. But instead of you guys reading every post in this and the Kronos thread and seeing why I am addressing these ...

I would be suprised if 10% of the owners of either the Kronos or the Jupiter 80 could even use half of these keyboard's potential but still they cry out for more. I actually thought these boards would appeal to the high end user but it seems that everbody and their dog has either one of these boards ...

I totally agree with your last comment Ojustaboo. People just don't have the loyalty to music these days. We will love the music we like to the day we die and I just can't see myself forgetting about my favourate music in another 20 years. When you listen to your music you listen to the whole album ...

I don't mind that DJ's think they are musicians and computer musicians think they are musicians too but what irks me is when they start letting loose on awesome equipment because they say the manufacturers don't care what they want. Quite a few poeple complain bitterly that the JP-80 is no good ...

I bought my first Joy Division tape when I was 16 and that was 26 years ago. I think you need to have a read of all the posts of people bagging these 2 boards and then you might see what I am getting at. Although I have moved on from those early years I know Joy Division has its merits but the music ...

[quote="1jordyzzz"]Technically advanced player doesn't always make music that sounds right... If a "one finger typist" could make a great song, he will get much money than a "keyboard shredder" that couldn't make / play a great song.. What makes a great song ? Is it a minimalistic 3 and a half ...

One finger typists

I have been researching the Kronos and the Jupiter 80 for about a year now. In that time I have read just about every post on the Korg forum and the Gearslutz forums on these 2 keyboards. I can not believe how many people have been very negative towards these 2 top tier instruments. My question is ...
