Korg M1 won't play drum patches
Hi all I'm scratching my head over this recently found problem with my M1 and I'm hoping someone might have a clue... I recently reloaded the M1 factory patches via sysex because I needed one of the drum patches and discovered that the M1 won't (or can't) play any drum sounds... I also loaded other ...

More sample upload woes... can anyone please help?
Hi all Does anyone know if there is an online step-by-step guide or document on uploading samples into a Triton Rack? Has anyone of you who can do this ever made notes of all the steps/traps involved? I'm trying to work my way through Korg's manual (not very helpful) and I'm missing something ...

Uploading Samples in - Is there a 'How To' wiki anywhere?
Hi everyone I recently bought a Triton Rack and I'm trying to get my head around the sampler and specifically, uploading samples (WAV and Akai files). Most of what I've found seems scattered around the forum here and there ... some helpful info to be found if you dig. The Korg user guides (both ...

I bought my M1 second hand and before that the previous owner had it stored under a bed for about a decade. The keys were sticky and the grease had perished so I opened it up to have a look. It was FULL of dust, general crap and lint. I found some videos on U-tube on servicing the keyboard so armed ...

UPDATE - I got Sound Diver to work. Info for M1 users.
Hi all Good News!!! I got Sound Diver to work on my Win& 64bit laptop ... it's great! To get it to work, you need to slow down (ie. INCREASE the time) for the timeout and send pause controls. These parameters are found in the icon of your synth on the SETUP page (also shown are various other Midi ...

Hi jhulk Thanks for the tip regarding Midisport 2x2 / 4x4 I'm using a cheap and cheerful no-name midi interface which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, depending on which synth and software I'm running. I can get the M1 to work using MidiOX and Sysexbox which I use to dump entire banks of 100 ...

Hi synthjoe can you recommend another midi interface? I'm at a bit of a loss... I stumbled onto Sound Diver while searching for a sysex library software that would allow you to pick and choose individual sysex patch files as opposed to swapping out 100 at a time... SD seems to do the job (on paper ...
