Re: Delete Unassigned Samples

Better while in any page of Multisample editing section of your Pa-Keyboard, choose the "Delete" command from the page menu to open the "Delete Multisample" dialog. Select the "Delete Unassigned Samples" checkbox to delete all the samples left free after deleting the multisample and not used by ...

Aha, don't own that, wish there was a way to do that on the keyboard...

Thanks!

Just curious, how did you delete the samples with "no ref" by them?
Was this done by using the delete option in the sound record mode?
Or is there another way to identify those samples, and delete them?
Thanks.

Thanks Antony and Pete.

I like the BKP files better, since I feel I have a full backup file that I can restore easily, and once I haven't updated yet, I probably may as well wait for the next incremental update and update then, just hoping it isn't too far off...

Thanks all!

Found that post from AntonySharmman about the issue with restoring BKP files: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... 617#771617

Was this ever addressed?

Is OS Next 3.1 Stable?

I'm still on the latest 2.x OS version (2.2.0, if I remember correctly), since I was waiting for the new OS Next 3.x to really be stable. I remember seeing someone mention something about a bug in version 3.1 with backups and restoring those backups, and I don't remember exactly what that issue was ...

Re: Backup full resource / Save All

like one made in V2, and restoring it in a newer OS version, like V3, will work correctly? I've already written that BKP do not contain any OS files not even meta data from OS version that was created so yep it will work ! If you will globally restore a BKP file created in OS version 2 in Pa4X OS ...

Re: Backup full resource / Save All

- Full resources restoration proved to be the best way to load your resources from an earlier OS with some incompatibilities like V2 & V3 with partial restoration of User resources. You can upgrade to newer OS and then load your older OS BKP resources in case of troubleshooting. Always wondered ...

They say you can go back to OS v2.x, but waiting for a few people to try it first before loading... Also, can someone try restoring a backup file (.BKP) made from OS 2.x onto a keyboard running OS 3.x to see if it works (or what happens)? Also curious if a keyboard is updated with current data, if ...

Does anyone know if the new OS will be able to restore backups from OS 2.x?

I never had OS 1.x on the 4X, but it sounded like OS 2.x couldn't restore 1.x backups - will it be the same way with OS 3.x and backups from OS 2.x?

That's what I was afraid of :(

Is there any way to convert a style to be compatible with a previous "generation" of Korg keyboards?

Will either the Korg PA Manager (not sure I'd by it for this anyway) or Style Works software be able to do anything?

Thanks.

Importing PA4X Resources on a PA900

I have a PA900 that I use for smaller gigs because of the lighter weight and built in speakers. I got some more PA4X resources (styles and sounds) from a friend, and I want to import some of them to my PA4X, and then use some of them on my PA900 as well. If I only have the resources in a SET ...

PA900 vs PA700?

Not sure how many people out there have tried/used both, but has anyone ever compared the PA900 to the PA700? I know the PA700 is missing the mic features and has a better screen, but they added a lot over the PA600, and while I like the PA900 a lot, and I'm sure it has some advantages, if someone ...

Official news post is here: http://www.korg.com/us/news/2018/042703/ Doesn't seem to be much there besides the VOX V860 volume pedal compatibility, and the Curve presets for the volume/expression pedal, basically the same as the releases for the PA300/PA600/PA900 from a few weeks ago (http://www ...
