sounds like you need more RAM. try upgrading your RAM. should be less than $40 for 2 32 mb SIMM RAM sticks That could possibly help :D I found another anomaly that was fixed with a fairly simple repair: The headphone jack (very cheaply made) was extremely loose on my LE. Took the bottom panel off ...

any other suggestions? You may have a power supply going bad. Weak ones with less than the proper amperage will do that. It's kind of like what happens to battery powered keyboards when the batteries get weak. The louder the volume applied, usually the worse it sounds. Try your board with a known ...

Why Is The Triton Le Keybed Considered So Bad?

:D So often, I find myself sounding like the "King Of The Misinformed" but sometimes I hear or read things that I cannot wrap my mind around. For qualification sake, let's just say I started playing piano at age 5. (I'm 53 now) Over the years, my hands have touched/played some fabulous Yamaha ...

:D I suspect a bad or incorrect power supply. Why do I suspect that? Plays fine for a moment then distortion (sound crackling, breaking up).....a symptom of a voltage/amperage drop then a reboot as the power intermittently returns. When transformers fail, they can cause some very strange things to ...

BB
:D hate to tell you but a lot of higher end music chains, boutique outlets already have begun to do exactly that because of the demand.

Re: Why Would You Ever Get Rid Of A Synth Anyway?

You are comparing apples and oranges. Electric/acoustic instruments never become obsolete because they are real instruments . One needs years of practice to create good sounds from those instruments and nothing can capture or replace nuances and expression of them. In contrast, digital instruments ...

:D Let's see.......... There was: The Yamaha DX7 IIfd w/grey matter `E (never really bonded with it but the music world did for a lot of years) A certain Roland Juno 60 I had in 1982 that I got rid of to buy an "intended" an engagement ring. (She's gone too) A "Fender Rhodes" suitcase 88 ...

Why Would You Ever Get Rid Of A Synth Anyway?

:? And before I open this pandora's box, let me give a brief bio of myself. I'm 53 years old. I've been doing something musical seems like since birth. I started playing piano at age five, played the clarinet and sax all through junior high/high school. Did that whole all state, honor's band ...

Greetings From North Eastern NC......a New Korg Owner

:D Greetings! I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Archie aka Musically Mr M. Kinda' got here by doing some research after I was given a Triton LE (OS 1.51) 76 key synth w/EXB-Smpl board already installed. The board would boot to an FKS:NG error till you would hit it then it booted fine. I joke with a ...

8) The definitive answer (and I know I probably need to introduce myself first but I was burning to answer this as I don't know why it was so hard to figure out) The FKS:NG code is a "hardware exception error" code. The cause? Poor connection of associated parts due to: 1. Contact corrosion (it ...
