Downloaded MK1 Pure Suitcase to my TR88 but some won't play.
So I need input on what to do. I've fooled around before and managed to get one or two patches working...but no rhyme or reason...just fiddling around. If anyone can impart knowledge on how to proceed I'd appreciate it. I know the TR is old....but not to me....Thanks in advance. The patches were ...

Bought a Sony MRW-EA7 Memory Card Reader. It works just fine
Purchased it for $37.00 on Amazon and it works as intended. I've downloaded several patches form Korg Forums and it can be used for photos etc.

You can buy USB card readers, but there are also card readers fitting into a floppy bracket (also by USB afaik). So you're saying that there is a "floppy disk" that I can place a SD card into, then access the content of the SD card from the floppy drive? It's made by "USB Afaik?" I'm aware of the ...

Can anyone recommend an ext SD card reader to load files?
My computer doesn't have an SD card slot....only a floppy. I'd like to be able to download sound files/patches to my SD card. My son has a Laptop but it's not available to me all the time.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

Is anyone familiar with "ksounds?"
I love the pianos they have. That being said....I know enough to realize that they may not be the same once installed. I ordered two 32 MB ram from E-bay so I have the 64 mb needed to load them. My only other concern is the brand or type of memory. This is what I have form "PartsQuick" bought on ...

I found the adapter you are looking for fairly cheap on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-Type-A-Female-to-USB-Type-B-Male-Adapter-AU2A2-B1-/280818155938?pt=US_USB_Cables_Hubs_Adapters&hash=item41621101a2 I think BB has a pretty solid idea as well with the rope LED lights. I have a feeling using ...

Yep....I know about the MIDI transfer capability of the TR.
The usb connector on the back of TR88 is a Type B connector. The usb port on the TR is only usable as a MIDI interface. It is not usable for Data transfer or as an audio interface. My main reason for asking abuot an adapter from the "Type B connector" to the new type usb connection was so that I ...

Is there an adapter for the USB port on korgTR series?
I have the TR88 and the female usb input is of the older variety. I'm thinking there may be an adapter to change it. It's the "U-shaped" type. I'd rather it be the flat type that's typical one shown on the other end. That would allow me to use a usb stick as well as a smart media card. I currently ...

Re: Hey McHale? You still around? Question about EXB-PCM08 E
go to the download section. Download a file I uploaded a LONG time ago called EXB-PCM08 EMULATED. I used the PCM-08 .pcg file and tweaked it while using the stock piano samples. I liked the results better than the pcm-08 when I had it. That's as good as you're going to get with stock samples. -Mc I ...

No problem with the DRAMM/SIMM....
Welcome to the forum! The Triton LE / TR is an older model, so this forum doesn't get quite as much attention unfortunately as the other models. I've often thought the various Triton sub-forums should be collapsed into one for this very reason, but I digress. The installation is incredibly easy. It ...

Did you ever get the ksounds Piano 2 on your TR?
Hi, I would like to do the same thing. I have found some very good Rhodes samples in SF2 format and now I'd like to get them into the TR. The problem is that I don't know how the resulting structure should look like. When I open the SF2 file in Awave Studio I get one instrument with 5 layers ...

Memory installed. Ready to load. No responses?
I've never been in a forum with so little input from it's members. Why even have a forum?
