And I don't mind shipping it -- I still have the original box and all of the padding that came when it was shipped to me. Obviously it would be better if you could stop by to check it out in person, but if that is impossible, I'm willing to ship. Also forgot to mention earlier, but it is still under ...

Price reduced to $950

I think I set the initial price too high -- so if anyone is interested, my price is now $950.

Haha -- nope, it wasn't me, but I sure hit a lot of wrong notes on my synth keyboards!

Korg Krome 88

I bought this board new and it is still in perfect, mint condition. No scratches or nicks as far as I can tell. It has only been played in my basement studio, and never taken out of the house. Our house is smoke-free and pet-free. I love this board but have decided to move to an arranger keyboard ...

Drum tracks?

Are you folks finding any drum tracks that are included with the samples? I don't get any drum sounds and I couldn't see anywhere on the screen that indicated they were included - - but I'm a newbie and might not be doing something to activate the drum tracks, or I might have had a bad download.

From what I've read, it is not only the expense of test requirements but also the 'time to market' factor that makes the use of wall warts so attractive to manufacturers. The ones Korg buys have already been tested and certified for use, so once Korg finishes designing and starts to manufacture ...

Nice find Rick! Also, that's an interesting hobby of yours -- reading the manuals. A bit off topic, but of the various keyboard manufacturers, who writes the best manuals? How do the manuals from Korg compare to the rest?

In the video, there are four cords plugged into the rear of the Krome. The cord on the far right, spaced from the pair of audio outs, leads to the area where the jack for the damper pedal is located. I can only speculate but would guess that he is using a pedal. I can't imagine not owning one myself ...

You could buy a sustain pedal -- that's what I did and it's very handy. Not sure if there are other ways to get the same effect.

I'm happy so far with my 88. I've been playing an acoustic for years and wanted a Krome with a smaller keyboard for easier transport, but decided to go with weighted keys instead. The action isn't exactly the same as it is on my acoustic, but then again none of the others were either -- all seem a ...

Thanks Rich! Just got a Krome and it's my first workstation. I have a lot to learn but your demos are very helpful. Keep 'em coming!
