Please "yzf125", keep the thread subject, I am not interested in buying a yamaha. It is not easy to recreate real piano sound in electronic ways, but Krome has come closer then most other keyboards. The sound "Krome Warm Pinao" is very good, I just want it little more soft (analog/warm) touch to it ...

The PCG file is about 4,3 MB when doing a backup on my Krome to SD card.

Songs (Midi files) is just data, usually they do not take much space either.

So a 2 GB SD card will last long, (400 PCG backup files can be stored on it, without midi files).

How get warmer sound

What setttings would you adjust to get warmer piano sound on Krome ? (Exactly what settings, not just "decrease diskant little) Please do not misunderstand, piano sound is very good. But I want it more "warm" then >Krome Warm Piano< , something like "little more analog touch" or decrease sharpness ...

Well done Rick to find "Hold Mode" in Krome manual. This function "Hold" works, tone continue to sound after finger is released from keys, but same tone continue even after you pressed a second keys later, now 2 tones same time. And that is not same scenario as in youtube video from Korg, it seems ...

Well done "tomtomheaven"

You are doing the work that Korg should have done for krome (if they resist to release sample playback feature).

Well, send the bill to Korg when it is finished.... :D

Maybee "karol3a" refer to the video about Krome "Combination mode & effects". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCfX3f8zTns 7:15 into video (combi, A10), chord continue plays without pressing keys. Since nothing is mentioned about pedals, video gives impression that Krome has a special hold function ...

Instructions on Video

A little suggestion to make instruction videos, cover basics or same as PDF manual for PCG Tools. I think instruction videos will be a good help to many and specific to new PCG Tools users. Some Video Screencapture software with voice recording is freeware and can be downloaded at internet. If ...

Congratulations.... Very well done "tomtomheaven" with reverse-engineering, it is not always it succeeds. And maybee also you can make a webpage for Krome with possibility to download those files (META.IMG and SAMPLE.IMG files) for other Krome user. Or ...

Korg Krome, what to expect ?

Thanks "Chriskk" for fast answer. Well, I have a Krome now, so far both pros and cons. I only agree to some point when people say "Krome is pretty much what it is". Much depends on the software, how much effort do Korg put into developing the Firmware and sounds for the users ? Product Manager ...

If wav playing is absence, what is possibility to get *.pcg (patch) library with sounds as, footstep, shurchbell... ? 3. Is it also possible to insert ...
