I have an SRC-512 card I only use on certain rare occasions where I don't have access to a computer (to send sysex). It eats batteries.

Something the Prophecy has that's missing in MOSS is waveshaping. I own both a Proph and a MOSS board. There's a conversion of the Proph factory sounds available for the MOSS. The M1 LE is basically the M1 software without all the bells and whistles. I'd imagine that the ability to load a .M1all file is one of those bells. Or possibly a whistle.

I'd say upgrading is the only answer.

It is possible to do this using a computer and system exclusive files.

For details on how to import system exclusive files created on the original M1 hardware and saved on your computer, see the software M1 manual, page 77.

I own both. Each has it synthesis strengths. The Wavestation is untouchable for sounds with motion (vectoring, wavesequences) while the 01/Wfd offers waveshaping. Its pads and strings are simply gorgeous.

I wouldn't part with either of them.
