Thanks guys it never even crossed my mind to use the PA4X as the controller.

I wonder if anyone has made a video of their setup. It would be very interesting to actually visualise what could be achieved.

Thank you so much Siebenhirter very informative and much appreciated.
My initial idea was to use setlist on the Kronos to select combis for RH sounds and use songbook or setlists to call up/trigger MP3 backing or indeed styles from songbook on PA4X.

I hope that makes sense.

I am toying with the idea of using my Kronos, esp Set list, to control the PA4X. Is this a good idea ?.
Do any users have experience of this or know what the potential limitations or advantages would be.

I'm looking for ideas or suggestions as to what maybe possible.

Does anybody have the original Osimo software and instructions on how to load it. The Korg site the download is V 1.1. I am presuming there was an original V 1.0.

Loaded individually and all is well

I'm presuming you have to try and emulate the original arrangements once the style is loaded and this cannot be done automatically.

Another slight problem

User style 2 loads no problem
User style 1 only partly loads it then comes up with an error saying conversion failed.

It's not the end of the world but I'm just concerned I'm doing something wrong.

I can't find Mick & Keith in the file I downloaded lol.

Are these just the styles is 8 beat rock etc without the style names.

I thought that there might be a resource page for all the old i and PA series arrangers. A link to anything that is available would be great ...

Is there a resource for downloading i series styles.
I tried korg.com for factory preload but it is not there.

It is my understanding that EX2 is used to send msb lsb and program change to external gear. I have this working fine sending from my Kronos in combi mode to my MoxF8. Most combis work fine but there is an anomaly with a couple of my combis where both sound sounds play kronos and moxf8 when playing ...

I have just taken ownership of a Kronos V1 73. It has been upgraded with 2nd hard drive and 3GB Ram. It also has the new 17 and 18 plus krs07 all authorised. I have loaded 17 plus 18 and krs07 and all is well in program mode. However quite a lot of the combis have the wrong sounds. Is there any way ...

My MP10 Pro hard drive gave up the ghost

I replaced it like for like by using the latest O/S 1.03

There are many resources missing like synth sounds pads etc

Does anyone have access to the original os files
