Ok, so I went to the store today and walked out with a Krome. The keys are not amazing, but they are pretty playable for me and nowhere near as bad as I was expecting considering what I've seen online. It was kind of a pleasant surprise.

I've never owned anything with a decent keybed, so I'm used to flimsy keys... but having tried out boards with better keys and real pianos I find that my playing just sounds that bit better, and it feels easier.
