Stick in microphone, make sure phantom power is on if it needs it. Load a vocoder program, press keys on keyboard, sing, you will hear vocoded signal if everything is working. Vocoder is a combination of your voice and a synth sound so you wont hear anything unless your are pressing keys as they act ...

Further to my pro-one wish list, Yazoo's vince clark released a batch of patch charts for programs from the hits Don't Go and Only You at the time of release and they are a good place to start on that particular synth http://www.flickr.com/photos/84788821@N00/2251440600/ http://www.flickr.com/photos ...

I'm always looking for sequential pro-one emulations (I have various kontakt ones etc) It's good for basses and lead lines etc (for example, yazoo's don't go, only you, situation etc) The previous posters comment about a 'famous sounds' bank is also a good idea, they always seem to sell well, for ...

I think I understand what you would like but that's something for Korg to create. I don't think they will do it soon because the current bank structure has never really changed. If you need more patches, it's possibly best to use multiple PCG files, one per project for example. You cannot load ...

Just to clarify, I'm requesting extra program slots, to store free patches/user patches. Or perhaps a software update could include a simple naming system so if you save a named bank it is written to slot in that way, so it would only be overwritten if you chose to do so, in much the same way as ...

Yep it's just a stick of ram, don't over think it lol. If something goes wrong down the line just take the ram back out, they don't have hidden cameras inside the case :)

I did mine myself on Tuesday, ordered from crucial on Friday £15.59, took five minutes to do. It's no more difficult than taking the side off a computer case and sticking in an extra ram stick other than the extra screws to take out the bottom lol :)

Thanks. didn't know that, saved a couple of new banks to the ssd and auditioned them, works a treat. I can just cherry pick favourites now and exercise some self control lol :)

I'm coming from a PC based DAW system (reason and Ableton live) so this is all new for me lol. On the pc I just save all of my patch creations without any limitations. Am I correct in assuming though that program storage is not particularly memory/storage taxing as they are just edits of existing ...

Extra Patch Slots

Hi there, new user just bought Kronos last week and it is a great keyboard. Quick question, probably a silly one but here goes; I have been downloading a few extra patch banks from the korg patches site, and my programs list is basically completely full, and I haven't even tried to huge DX patch ...
