Yes, the Krome will absolutely control different channels simultaneously, down the same MIDI cable. In fact, when I use it as a studio master, that's exactly what I do. I use different MIDI channels to address my different synths, and I use the sequencer to edit everything from notes to CC ...

Midi channels transmit to DAW?

Hi, Krome global set to midi channel 1. Is it possible (in combi or sequencer mode) to control tracks on different channels? Eg in my DAW (Ableton), using the external instrument device, I have piano on one track (ch 2) and strings on another track (ch 3). Both sounds sound at the same time, and I ...

Yes...I believe you can, if I understand you correctly. This is what I do. I have Ableton. I use the external instrument and the current sound on the Krome plays in Ableton. This means I can add effects to the Krome sound. It would able to record midi using that sound. I don’t think you have d ...

You will need to set the length of the song...not at my Krome at the moment, so can’t tell you exactly....I am pretty sure it is in the menu when you press the button top right of the screen in one of the sequence edit pages....when I am at my Krome, will let you know...(later today)

I believe that if you save all as PCG, you will be able to keep your settings.

You will be able to get them back by loading the PCG file again.

It is possible to tell Krome to change from program mode to combi mode and back using sysex message. The code is in the back of the parameters manual...and in this forum somewhere...a search should locate it.

Do you know of a similar hardware product that can send sysex to the Krome and has sliders?

Thanks

Hi,
Has anyone had any success using the nanokontrol and sysex messages to control the sliders in combi mode?

Hi,
You will need to use sequencer mode to record.

You can have your combi setup transfer to sequencer by pressing the ‘record’ button.

Look in the manual for sequencer and it will tell you how to record specific tracks.

All the best

Hi, I don’t have my board out to check the details...still packed up in car from practice last night... To do this with pads, I assume it would work with strings...I use tone adjust. Use one of the sliders. Change one to amp velocity (I think...on my it is is in the first column of choices, and is o ...

On further investigation, I wonder if the Real-time knobs cutoff etc and dependent on the multisample. Can anyone confirm? I open the initialised program for saw..forget the actual number and noted that the knob for cutoff worked for that program. I copied the osc from the “Prayer Pad” program (as I ...

Real-time knob cutoff control...

Does anyone know which parameter affects whether the Realtime Knob Tone Cutoff works for a program. Eg it works for A021 Dark German Grand but not for A020 Bright German Grand. I have tried to compare programs via the edit pages, but it escapes me...must be something though...Have looked at manuals ...

Real-time control knob - cutoff

Hi, Would someone be able to tell me what parameters affect the real-time control knob for cutoff. For example with a piano the knob has not much affect, but with a fast synth sound it does. I have looked through the program pages to try and find a parameter that controls how the knob works without ...
