I don't know if anything has changed recently, but last time I checked the Pa4x was not a class compliant midi device. This changed recently. I'm using it with a TEControl breath controller . Before the firmware upgrade it did not work. After the upgrade it works, like it did already on the Kronos.

Re: Using A Breath Controller With Pa4X

I have a class compliant breath controller with a Kenton USB Host I would like to try. I know I have to match the midi channel to a lead voice, but what else does an old non-techy have to know? Bernie If you have the latest firmware, you can connect any class compliant USB device directly into one ...

Re: Does the Kronos is a good MIDI controller for studio wor

Can I route somehow a breath controller through the Kronos into the audio interface(only to control virtual instruments, not for the Kronos internal sounds)? Through the MIDI THRU input maybe? I use a TEControl breath controller connected directly into the Kronos USB host port. This works very well ...

I use a TEControl USB breath controller with Busch's patches on Kronos and it all worked straight out of the box. You can also change the BC settings with the software provided for free by the manufacturer (you need a Mac or Windows computer) to any CC you like. It can also send pitch bend or ...

I have the TEControl and it works great with Kronos. It's recognized automatically when plugged into the USB port.

A simple to use and lightweight software (must run it on a computer) can change any setting and/or the sensitivity curve of the breath controller.

Great piece of kit, recommended.

All these BC are very pricier than the Yamaha BC when it came and was in the market :( Not sure how much the Yamaha BC cost new but often it goes used for several hundred on ebay. And don't forget the BC to MIDI converter box from MIDI solutions, which is needed to use a Yamaha BC unless you have a ...

Re: Koeg Triton Classic + TEControl Breath Controller + MOSS

Ok. I've got this setup, finally trying to make the TEControl UNI MIDI breath controller to work with the MOSS board. But...even with the MOSS manual I can't make heads or tails how to use it. I've configured the TEControl correctly I think with the software it came with, put it in the MIDI IN of ...

A new breath controller has been recently launched on the market. This is made in Germany and looks good if a tad overpriced (890 Euro...) to me: Here it is: http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2014/04/09/new-advanced-midi-breath-controller-the-hornberg-research-hb1-breath-station http://i2.wp.com/www ...
