The lack of a simple arpeggiator with user programmable patterns is just plain ignorant of Korg. +1 I wouldn't call it ignorance, but it reminds me of the mindset of the makers of cheap new stereos. They all come with eq presets with fancy names that sound terrible. And they won't let you eq the ...

Thanks Antony, So I am probably looking at a ENO Enhance PSU replacement or motherboard replacement... :( I will take it to express repair in the city tomorrow. And will let you know what they say. But I cannot leave there past Thursday, so I will have my fingers crossed. The unit has never turned ...

Thanks Branman. So let's assume the temperature is 70 Celsius or maybe 75 instead of 60 once the unit is off. I guess at that point the temperature sensor inside the Kronos is telling the system that it is not safe to boot up at that temperature. Have you ever had a similar issue? Is this the ...

Thanks for your replies! For what is worth, this is happening at my home studio, where the Kronos is connected to a Furman Power Plus Series II conditioner. The issue is not that the unit is rebooting by itself. The Kronos will not turn itself off. At least not yet. The issue is that IF I turned it ...

Kronos X61 Won't Reboot (Temperature issue?)

Hi all, I've been having "not rebooting" issues with my Kronos X61 for a while but now I think I'm beginning to understand what is going on. Why I don't know, maybe you guys can help me... The board will boot up 100% of times at the beginning of the day or gig. (So far). The problem comes if the ...

How bout the Marco solo in the Kravits Cover. That's the sound that would be cool to have on hand. Any ideas where that came from?

Thanks in advance for any and all feedback .... testing 1, 2 .... testing

Thank you guys for your answers! Fclef, does that mean that I have to bring back the unit to its original state with all programs/combis in order to downgrade erasing all my combis first? I didn't think such a step was necessary. I thought just having the original preload.ksc on autoload should be ...

Downgrading to OS 2.1.2

Hi all, Sorry if this has been answered before. How difficult is to revert to OS 2.1.2 after installing OS 3.0.2 on the Kronos? Can simply install OS 2.1.2 on top of 3.0.2 if it is necessary? I just want to make sure there is a straightforward way out in case I have issues with 3.0.2. Thanks a lot ...

Thanks Anthony. I went and check your post.

I am actually not planning to do any work on OS 3.0.2 until I am sure that all my Combis work flawlessly.

What I actually need to know is if I can simply re-install OS 2.1 on top of 3.0.2 if it is necessary.

Thanks!

Hi all, How difficult is to revert to OS 2.1 after installing OS 3.0.2 on the Kronos? How would the process look like? Disclosure style synth Pad

Hi All, I was trying to recreate some of the synth pads from the Disclosure track "Latch. Especially that one from the verse (starting at 01:17). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93ASUImTedo It sounds like something that could be achieved with the Polysix and a lot of modulation. But I'm definitely ...

As a pianist, RH3 Keybeds are a mistery to me. They seem to be different for every unit. I had a Korg SV1 and I absolutely loved the RH3 action on it. It was not too heavy, but properly weighted. At the same time you could really dig into it and keys would come back up very fast. I miss that ...
