What makes me upset is that Korg does not have a responsive customer driven service, but rather a kind of mini shell-closed organization. They take an age to end up sending you to your country dealer, who is not Korg but just a dealer. Of course, if you do not live in India, they cannot help you ...

I do agree about the sound at some extend. Krome on headphones sounds just great. On line outs I cannot say the same. It looses a lot of definition IMO. Even some distortion can appear easily. That joined to the key-bed (in 61 and 73 version) and to the very fragile knobs makes the Krome a bit short ...

It will work IMO. There can be some limitations depending on the MIDI implementation of CASIO. Of course all controls, excepting the keybed itself will be handled on the Krome board. The line outs of the Krome can be connected to the CASIO providing there are Line ins available. As far as I can see ...

Great tool. I do like it. By the time being I will only use it to sort my libraries in a more efficient way. But I am sure it has many features to discover.
I hope I can get on a KRONOS, then I am sure this tool will just be a real companion to me.
Thanks a lot.

A kronos is a professional Synth. I wish I could say the same about my Krome. Of course we can go professional with entertainment keyboards because now a days all digital machines sound good enough to make the job, but we cannot compare when we get close to the real thing. If I could I will buy a ...

Then, I do not know what it could be. I will suggest you to send it for service. Mine, 61 version is not having this problem. I detect some dictorsion at high levels, but never on headphones. Only on the cheapy line outputs. In fact, mine has no problem so far excepting that I do not like the ...

I have noticed that whenever I subscribe to newsletter, I get a link to download a version which is old. The password I received along with, does not work with the latest version that can be downloaded and no upgrade link is available. Am I doing something wrong or it is to be so?

It can be that you are using the patches directly from the card and the card has a little problem. You can try to copy first the patches from the SD card to the internal memory. Another thing to do is to backup the data of the card on the PC, and format de card from the utility menu in the Krome ...

Well. I contacted KORG US and they sent me to KORG dealer in my country who sent me to KORG Dealer in India who never even answered to any of my several emails. Not even to say not. So, I am afraid that we will have to wait for an Indian owner kind enough to share it o exchange it for the Peruvian ...

I remember now that somebody reported a distortion problem that went away after a factory reset. Otherwise you will need to send it for service. I have been quite disappointed with the build quality of KROME and even defended my negative opinion in this forum, but I have found that most of people ...

At some extend I also agree with summers2. I would not trash the board just because features and sound are very good as I already said on one of my posts. By looking at the key-bed however, I have to keep my opinion. He is also right about trying before buying. That was my mistake and I regret it ...

Looking at the number of people backing you up, it seems the the Krome quality must be very good. I'm sorry you have problems with it and I assume you already contacted Korg Support to fix the problem? Perhaps people is either scared of saying the true on the official forum or even scared to have ...

See my Topic Krome Build quality. It was written to complain about the 61 model, but I see now that 88 is having its own flaws. Please KORG, what are you doing these days?
