send email here: Product_Support@KorgUSA.com I am also very displeased with Korg over this issue. I purchased Legacy Digital Edition before 2010 for quite a bit more then people pay for it now and they decided to give free upgrades to full legacy for those only 2010 and later, don't ask me why them ...

Tone should be similar in terms of modeling and effects. However, the valvetronix circuit that is built into the tonelab's DOES have an effect on the sound, otherwise Vox would not have included it. Even more importantly, the tonelab tubes adds feel which in my experience no other digital model has ...

The Wiliiam Coakley sample set for Triton is bloody expensive though. Anyway, I agree, I think you're emulated PCM08 is pretty much the way to go for playing live because no samples to load and it sounds perfectly great enough to sit in a mix. I have more complaints about the feel of the keyboard ...

Yea I think McHales is definitely a bit smoother and #4 I would use to cut through a mix live I think. Both are great

oh that's good to know I can use my existing scsi adapter with your CF replacement. One wierd question on that, I read somewhere that I can't up grade the firmware on the triton without the floppy drive? Is that true? If so I guess I would upgrade it first then add your CF drive. the only other way ...

That sounds familliar, must be it, but you just brought up another SUPER DUPER good reason for me to consider switching to your solution, which is the ability to pop the CF flash card into my PC for transferring files to it, backing it up, organizing it, etc.. None of which is convenient with my ...

Well I actually have an internal HD kit I got a long time ago, like 10 years ago. The Triton has been in storage for a while, but I'm pulling it out soon to gig. I am hoping the internal HD will be fine for this. The kit I have had an external SCSI jack for plugging in CD's and internally a HD ...

Thanks for responding to the question even though it probably resulted in loss of selling one more CF unit heh. Though I can see some strong advantages in terms of reliability of using the CF instead, to easily backup my drive for one thing, as well as to to have a spare copy of the data...and ...

McHale, I have the scsi kit and and internal HD installed. Will the CF be any faster than the internal HD?
