Thank you everyone.
I think I'll just leave it the way it is.
Safest option.

Thanks everyone. I'll just have to live with it. It certainly doesn't affect the performance in any way, just maybe re-sale value, if I decide to sell it. If it
wasn't so heavy, I'd never consider that, but gigging with it is getting harder as I get older. I turned 94 yesterday. lol (just kiddin')

I don’t think I rested my hand on the LCD screen, but maybe I did, and maybe you’re right, plugging in the usb cable shouldn’t cause this.
Thanks for your opinion.

Sorry. Can't figure out how to upload a picture or a link to the pic, but as soon as the Kronos logo comes on after I turn on the switch, the line appears. It's about 1/4" from the left edge of the screen, and it runs from the top of the screen to the bottom. A thin blue line.

Thin vertical blue line on left side of display

I connected my 61 Kronos to my 88 Kronos with a usb cable, to see if I could midi them together that way. When I did that, a thin vertical blue line on the left side of my 88 display appeared. I connected the usb b side into my 88, and the usb a side into my 61. Everything worked fine but now I have ...

Any comments on the Roland KC 220?

I just turned 71 and I’d like to lighten the load. Also, I was hit with a viral infection in my right ear and I lost most of my hearing, so I think I need to change my set up. I’ve been using two Behringer floor monitors, left and right, for years. I play mostly jazz and Latin, and mostly piano or ep ...

Well, that makes sense, Kronosphere. I just thought you could somehow set it and forget it at the beginning. Thanks for the assistance.

Change time signature in sequencer mode

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but can someone please help me out. All I want to do is record a song 94 measures long in 3/4 time. I can set up the time signature just fine, but if I only record say 20 measures, then stop, when I start again at mea 21, it reverts back to 4/4. I've done ...

I have both the K61 and 88. I've replaced the rubber contacts on the 88 and it's quite a bit better, but still not perfect. My gigs are 90 percent piano, ranging from jazz to pop to latin to tejano, and lately, I've been using the 61 more than the 88. I'm 67 years old, and the 61 is just so much ...

How to register a used Kronos

I downloaded the Purgatory Creek Rhodes Mark 5 and it sounds great, but I got the demo version, where the sound fades out every few seconds. It's supposed to be free, but only the demo version is available in the Korg shop. Maybe I need to register my Kronos in order to purchase anything from the ...

Has anyone ever used this portable recorder to record brass or woodwind instruments, or any sounds for that matter, to use as multi samples in the Kronos?

I'm using song files that I've created on the Kronos itself. I can only load 99 songs. I guess I have the maximum 444,000(?) MIDI events in those 99 songs. I was hoping that there might be a way to expand this max number, but I doubt it.
