good post - I have legacy too - I was wondering why there is no Wavestation Sound Library on board of the Kronos - looking forward to your insights.
It must be a challenge to replicate the WS sounds one on one.

Very good question - I am very interested in this too - I guess the guys who did the heavy lifting in the analog world will answer this.
The question reminds me, that we are very deep in the digital age.

thank you ccmacdon - I will work with that - you are right, there are many sounds that have tones that seem close - so far, I was not able to pick the right one - one thing I noticed: there is a big difference between ORGAN reccords produce on vinyl and newer ones on CD.
