Re: Minilogue- Funeral For Queen Mary
WOW! That is too cool! This is a newbie question, but that's ok cause I'm new to analog synthesis. I'm trying to cover the opening title theme to A CLockwork Orange, known as "Funeral of Queen Mary"... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kt45SJ-zEUI (Caution- some disturbing images) It's a basic synth ...

Wavedrum Soft Case No Longer Available?
I know it really doesn't do any good to post in this forum, since hardly anybody is ever on it... but, I've been desperately trying to find the official Korg Soft Case for my Wavedrum Global Edition, but it seems Korg has stopped making it. Can anyone (preferably from Korg, if they're watching ...

Poor mans octatrack? NO IT can maybe do some things an octa can, but It will not do the foloowing: Record loops in realtime Not sure how you would do a 20 second loop with 4 bar pattern length, In fact afaik it has no timestretch at all unlike the ESX which had two stretch parts, but still wouldn't ...

Thanks to all for the replies. It's strange that the manual doesn't mention any of this and that I can't seem to find any videos of the Sampler sequencing something like a Blofeld (though there are a ton of videos of the Octatrack sequencing the Blofeld!) But as long as people here have been able to ...

A very poor-man's Octatrack. The Electribe Sampler's parts have fixed MIDI channels (part 1=MIDI channel 1 and so on), so you will have to take that into mind. And you are limited on sample space on the ES2. So you would definitely run into issues with longer samples. You are limited to 270 seconds ...

I've got to ask the same question then since it wasn't really answered... can the Electribe Sampler act as a poor-man's Octatrack? I can't afford an Octatrack at the moment (fell back into starving artist status recently) and I have a Live PA/performance coming up with "no computers allowed" only ...

Thanks guys, I guess I was just wondering why my 6mm shaft, 15mm outer diameter knobs don't fit and yours does? Wondering if you had to drill out/widen the shaft (I know Chris you drilled it out for the light to shine through.) Mine don't even fit on my littleBits even though they look like they ...

Re: Korg SQ-1 modification for better playability
My new video shows a little modification that I did on my SQ-1 to improve its playability: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q57-OA6f7sU Hey Chris, I have a question for you; those knobs are 6mm shaft right? I see other people quoting that same spec as well... I just received knobs that are also 6mm ...

Well, if you used my editor (CEVS) they're definitely mono as I convert before uploading. The SDK docs that the device expects mono samples. This is what KORG tells us: "Only 16bit monaural audio samples are supported, so convert as necessary beforehand." If you want to do a real test, record the ...

I want to say yes actually... I could be wrong, but I just got the Volca Sample and the first thing I did was erase all the internal samples and load up my own; many of which were stereo samples and the stereo imaging seems to be retained. I'll do another test with more extreme stereo panning within ...
