It's never too soon to get started on trying to influence Korg's direction (or to try and guess where they are going...) So what do we think the next step is in the Korg Volca line? or where do we want it to go. My top thoughts of what I'd like to see is (in order of preference as of right now ...

Backer here... And while I don't "need" another synth, this at a backer price is awesome. I like the sounds and you've created in a nice interface. What's not to like...

Rather than a sampler, a formant Volca (heh Volca Voice anyone?) with a 3 part sequencing system like the Volca Bass except that each step can be a vowel (at a pitch) sound with an optional transition through a consonant. Long release and attack times on the envelope would actually have sounds merge ...

I posted something like this in Gearslutz, but thought I'd repeat it here. Maybe Korg will take this idea up... A cool direction that comes to mind is a Volca Formant synth. Something where you could have AAAAA, ahhh, eeee, IIIII, Oooohhhh, ooooo with about 4-8 distinctive consonant sounds (D, F, K ...

I'm a bit worried about modifying my Volcas and I also will be getting a mounting rack of these when I get my Vixen Mixer. The actual sync signal I am hoping to change to MIDI is ...

So what would people's recommendations to go from a Volca sync to MIDI clock? (preferably with a start/stop signal, but I realize that may not be possible)

I have been thinking of getting a Volca Sample and FM and wondered if I started one with MIDI how the other would get started. Nice to know how that would work...
