If you are submitting your songs to places like Musicxray.com the Mus Industry Professionals (MIPs) say explicitly what they are looking for and often what artist they will be pitching to, so if it's money you're after then you can write songs to fit what they're looking for. I find it hard to write ...

Coopyright for Digital Only Cd

I've released my last cd through cdbaby for digital distribution only this time, I can't afford to produce a physical cd yet, but it's available for downloads thru i-tunes etc. Question: I have to figure out how to register the copyright just the mp3 I guess. Has anyone done this before? I've ...

By the way, this song might end up in a racing video game. It was picked up by a MIP (music industry professional) at musicxray.com to pitch for a game (late sept 2012) so wish me luck.

I'd love to hear what you come up with. Maybe I'll post some loops I"ve been engineering in 'dubstep' style. Having no experience and having only just became aware of how cool dubstep can be, I am very limited and resorting to imitating the songs I've been listning to. I know the music they've been ...

That's what I am doing. But I'm not a sound engineer, I'm a musician. So for me to have to re-engineer a bunch of sounds, while it's interesting to do, it takes time away from composing. I'd rather shell out some money for a package that's been produced by someone who excells at sound engineer so I ...

I have the Radias and use it constantly. The sounds I'm interested in are the sorts of sounds that are used in dubstep, harsh rhythmic sounds with variable bpm's, also they have a lot of wah and flutter effects. The m3 is capable of making these sounds to some degree. I'll keep searching. I'm half ...

I'm talking in-yo-face hits and sound effects and buzz synths, exactly like what I'm hearing in dubturbo for dubstep styles. Think Deadmau5 style of music. I'll check out karma lab, I haven't looked there. Thanks.

Electronic sounds for m3

Does anyone know where I can purchase/download more modern electronic sounds for the m3? I am interested in playing around with dubstep and more edgy electronic sounds and am running short. I've checked out kidnepro but I don't see anything new in there, I got their vintage stuff. I downloaded the ...

New Website

Not sure where to post this, but I now finally have a proprietary website thru Revernation that I'd love some feedback on.

the url is http://2loosemusic.com

I do like the url, I think it's fairly easy to remember.

Any tips for DIY music videos?

Any tips/techniques on doing DIY music videos. I've been just posting stuff as best I can with limited editing software. The link below is what I can do with windows movie maker, but i'd like to expand and make them look more professional without breaking the bank.
