ya would like to know also how this new korg sx works with the sd card. cause it doesnt have ram to load it to, can u load right from the card? or can u preview all the samples on the sd card from one sound part??

ok thanks shakil, i see you have a fantom-g, then you know how in the fantom you can assign 8 wavs, to each key, up to like 70 keys then save the kit to a different name as a user kit, is it basically similar then in the korg to do this?

well to respond to kanthos, vst's such as bfd2 have internal midi editors, or a piano roll inside the vst, sync'd , and it makes perfect sense. having seen the new piano roll window in the m3 itself, id think korg might try to implement it somehow in the vst, . as an example of what you mentioned on ...

getting the m3

i was thinking of getting the m3, does it have a vst editor like the korg x50?

and does the vst editor have the new piano roll in it for the seq update ive heard about?

you know what i figured it out, in combi mode, setting all the tracks to the same patch, the adjust each tracks pitch.

ok thanks for shedding some more light on this x-trade. i can see wanting to pay more for the extra fx, and the seq, even though i got a bunch of vst and record into reaper. hardware fx to me have always been more real sounding than digital fx on a computer. is there a way to assign chords to say ...

right, from just comparing the 2 boards, the x50 and the m50, the x50 at my house, and about an hour of standing at guitarcenter playing the m50 2 or three times, the x50 seems like the sounds are as you said more ballsy/rounder, i would describe it as "thicker" and after about 30 mins of playing ...

well ive been in guitar center testing the m50, and i bought the x50 to take it home and get in it and see how good it is, my verdict.... the x50 costs about 699. the m50 costs 1099 but the x50 has no seq, or extra stuff like the m50 so whats to be said....., if the x50 had a seq and stuff like the ...

ive used fantoms and tritons b4, i tried this synth the other day and was amazed at the clarity, but was that just a one hit wonder is this board really work it, do the piano sound real and clear? are there some good drums to work with, not cheap sounding drums, why would i get a micro korg instead ...
