Hook up the hard drive to your computer and use a Windows 98 boot disk to partition and format the new hard drive using fdisk and the format command. This will create one fat32 partition on the hard drive. After this, hook it up to your Triton Studio and enjoy. If you do not have a copy of Windows ...

The later revision CDRW-1 drives will hang and have problems if the operating system on the TS is too old. However, if the earlier revision CDRW-1 drive is used, you will probably not have any problems. If you want to be sure that you will not encounter issues, then just update the operating system ...

You might have ended up cloning a FAT16 partition which can only hold 4GB. It's a limitation of it's structure. To properly upgrade a hard drive for the triton studio, you must connect it to a computer and use fdisk to create a FAT32 partition. It then must then be formatted. The computer must have ...

Cd's are more complicated when it concerns reading and writing error correction and such. Floppies are very discriminating. Either they will work or they will not. I recommend to do it as described in the manual. Just buy new floppy discs, format them all and if possible, use a new or lightly used ...

A cd does not have enough space to show much video to guide you. And a cd with someone talking about it will not help much either. BUT reading is a much better format to get yourself started. I have found that Korg's FAQ pdf files are the very best way to get started: http://www.korg.com/services ...

The hard drive inside the Triton Studio is an IDE laptop hard drive. You hook it up to a desktop PC with the correct adapter and format the hard drive with a Windows 98 bootdisk to create a Fat32 partition. The hard drive is located near the floppy drive. Here's my experience doing it: http://www ...

As for getting to the HD inside, I opened up Studio (very carefully I might add), and I couldn't even find the HD. I'm assuming it's located somewhere near the floppy and CD drives but I didn't want to take it apart further. I'll leave that to a tech. I do not know which Triton Studio you have, but ...

The hard drive on the Triton Studio is a laptop IDE hard drive. I suggest that you open up your triton studio, remove the hard drive, and with the appropriate adapter, hook it up to a PC. The reason why I say this is because you can get programs on the PC that can deal with problematic hard drives ...
