I completely agree. These are fantastic emulations, but I have to maintain an ancient laptop to have them viewable at a reasonable size.

That is nice work, thanks! I wish Korg put a little bit more effort in the Volca manuals. They're really barebones.

I had both, and despite really wanting to like both (they were so cheap!), I never enjoyed working with the Bass. Even though it had three oscillators with detune, the sound seemed less full than other synths with only two. Plus, I have other monosynths I liked better. It felt geared toward ...

Short answer: No.
The Duo is not controllable in the same way as the original Monotron. Unlike the other models, the pitch is controlled by a microprocessor. There is one individual who was able to control a Duo, but it was much more complicated than controlling the original.
