Just a thought for you. I've been using the wireless MIDI adapters from CME and they work very well. Stick one in your 5 pin MIDI port and link it to your phone.

You may also want to check out PEEL by Zplane which isolates audio in an interesting way. Check out some of the Youtube demos if you're interested. It's kind of freaky.

I have a question about that External Setup master list. I'm looking at the Arturia/ Mini setup & in the NOTES section it states "Copy the setting file “controlMidi” into the following folder:......." Where is this 'controlMidi' file that is referenced throughout the External Setup document? Thanks, ...

Patch Increment on External Synth

I am using my Kronos to control the Arturia MinMoog on my PC. Currently I am using the Arturia in stand alone mode although I will later use it as a VST in Studio One. I have one Timbre of a Combi on the Kronos set to Ext & have set that to the appropriate MIDI channel. I am able to successfully ...

I lost the Editor due to Win10 updates for quite a while. I just installed the newest DrvTools(115_r38e).exe which was dated Aug 8, 2020. (I did uninstall the previous driver first.)

Anyway I'm happy to report that my Kronos Editor is now working with MIDI over USB.

Yeah, thanks I have always loved his demos! He is a very talented player as well. I did find his website & translated it and it is wild. I bet I would have liked to have partied with him in my younger days 8)

Hey Greg I'm a bit confused. Does Katsunori Ujiie sell sound banks?

I couldn't find anything online.

Thanks,

Hah! You guys are killing me. I guess I'm one of those "ancient" players as well. For years I schlepped around a Rhodes MK1, B-3, Clavinet & MiniMoog. Years later we are still trying to emulate those sounds and sometimes too perfectly. It was the impurities, quirkiness, of each of those keyboards ...

I wanted a cover that fit perfectly & was waterproof as well. I contacted LeCover & they made a custom cover to fit the Kronos 61 perfectly. They also stitched a custom Logo for me. Very nice.

For live I have 2-Elx112P powered PA speakers & also a Spacestation v3.

At home I use 2-Maudio Bx5 powered monitors. These sound fantastic for the Kronos in a small room & can be had for about $200/ pair if you shop around.
