I would recommend to buy a Korg Kronos 88 with RH3 action. This is the best and sturdy keybed you can get!

I have a Korg Kronos X 88 from the year 2015 and never had any problem with the keybed.

It's huge and it's sturdy!!

Some of my songs start with drum track only and Karma is sneaking in later on. I want to activate/deactivate a external device via MIDI clock start/stop. But maybe there is a walkaround possible. I have an idea. I have not tested if this works, but perhaps - always run Karma if you want to start ...

I modified my K2 to adjust the angle of its factory screen (see sig).
Very interesting modification. How did you close that opening in the housing that appears, after the original screen has been taken out?

Korg Kronos - Karma - Realtime Quantize

Hello dear fellows, I remember there was a Combination from KARMA-Lab, where they used Karma to achieve a specific behavior I would call "realtime-quantize". No matter when I pressed a key on the keyboard, the notes were always delayed and played perfectly aligned to the drum track and the Karma ...

KARMA will send MIDI START/STOP messages. You need in Global->MIDI 1) Set MIDI Clock internal 2) Set Enable Start/Stop Out in Prog/Combi See Parmater Guide p 786 DrumTrack alone does not send MIDI START/STOP messages Thank you alland for this useful hint. I really appreciate it! I activated the ...

karma will send midi messages to external midi devices. drum track, I am not 99% certain of. Drum track is also a 'pattern ' If I have time tomorrow, I will test to see if the pattern goes thru as various midi messages. I think it does, if I had to guess. Or you could try it. Thank you GregC for ...

Drum Track / Karma sending MIDI Start/Stop Message

Hello dear fellows, I have a question regarding the drum track or the karma function. If I start the drum track or the karma function in a program or combination, is there a MIDI start message been sent? And the other way round, if the drum track or karma function is stopped, is there a MIDI stop ...

Thank you for your kind reply, and many greetings from cold Germany to wonderful warm Australia. Out of curiosity, how many soundpacks has Access released for the Virus to cover modern genres? The Access Virus TI is itself a huge sound package for modern sounds of the EDM genre. The synth contains ...

There are thousands of musical styles. I agree that the collection of sound libraries for the Kronos doesn’t do a great job of representing modern musical styles and genres. Nexus 3, as in your example, does a great job of representing some (these) genres. Thank you for your kind reply and that you ...

This forum is for Korg User, the thread is about Kronos. I am a Kronos owner and user and I love this Instrument. Korg Kronos is a music production ...

I bought Nexus 3 and was really disappointed to hear it didn't have any Ambient Modular DAW-Less Jam sounds. That’s not true. Here you have your Ambient sound expansion for Nexus 3. https://refx.com/nexus/expansion/stratosphere/ It’s called „Stratosphere“. Could you explain what you mean with DAW le ...

If your alarm is going off, it’s just fine. Because I am no „Troll“ or „Agitator“. I believe if you have no arguments left in a discussion, then this is the last possible argument: you are a troll. I don’t want to discuss. I leave the discussion. That’s clear and easy for you. But I am just an ordina ...

I have tried recreating sounds on the Kronos similar to what you find in Nexus, but it's not particularly easy nor are the results as good. For example, the Kronos does not have a supersaw function which is critical to that sound. Nexus has a trance gate that's easily accessible and editable. Busch ...

Nexus is a very cool, fairly unique software synth. I would say, if you like the Nexus, pick it up now that it's on the Xmas sale. Busch. You again missed central questions and keypoints. This makes not wonder, because you didn't check the information in the links that I have provided. And by the ...

Kronos has not only 5 sound engines, it has, if you count them precisely, 9 sound engines. I like the Kronos very much. I don't want to get rid of it. I want to use it in my home studio, to perform, modern, cool and fresh electronic music. Here, thats me, performing on Kronos and Virus: https ...
