You're very welcome, graag gedaan, glad I could help. As for bypassing the pot: you certainly could, just make sure you don't cause a short so pay attention to the pinout (tip: look up the data sheet for this pot on the ALPS web site). I'm not sure I would bypass it myself, since that would take ...

Hello Laxiton. Since you use Euros as currency, I'm going out on a limb and assume you might be from Europe :). Rather than ordering from Mouser in the US, why not locate an ALPS dealer in Europe? Alps has a distributor locator at http://www.alps.com/e/common/contact_us/wheretobuy/europe.html. Check ...

Think of the sequencer as a grid. It only has a finite number of subdivision, which is what i referred to as the resolution. Mind you, at 120 BPM (typical dance/pop/rock music) that is still 384 steps per second, or less than 3 msec for a step. It's not really an "odd" number if you consider it's ...

The buttons are Panasonic EVQ11 9mm. I ordered mine at digikey, part number P8073SCT-ND: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=P8073SCT-ND With decent desoldering braid (absolutely necessary) and 40 switches (get a few extra just in case) the total was less than $20. It's ...

Well, I've had something like this happen recently a few times. As if a switch on the triton was being depressed. Similar symptoms: automatic scrolling through patches, changing values, weird stuff. Since two other buttons were getting iffy (I sometimes had to "mash" them), I ended taking my Triton ...

I just got the schematics and parts for the cable, so once I build the cable I'll give that a try next.. All right, so I found the service manual, the cable spec, got the components, and built the test cable. When I tried the tube calibration process, the LEFT channel was reported as in spec (value ...

Hello Yatmandu. Thanks for the reply. No "leakage" indeed when playing through 3/4. I tried swapping the tubes, and I get the same result (right channel still much louder than left channel, and even with master volume all the way down there is a lot of noise - more than what I would call crosstalk ...

EMX right channel problem
I just bought an EMX (ebay) and it seems to be in fine condition. I ran into a problem, would like to hear from the experts hear what you think of it. Thanks in advance for the responses. The problem is that the right channel is much louder (4-5 dB) than the left channel. This is apparent in main L ...
