I just got completely fed up with the idea and sent it back.

I'll just stick to using the Native version and save myself £500.

I've given up with this and sent it back for a refund.

I don't know what was going on yesterday, but I tried 1.0.3 again today with exactly the same test project, and now 1.0.3 is using significantly less cpu than 1.0.2

Maybe a new day, after powering off, rebooting etc. or whatever.

So it's all good.

Unfortuneately I'm getting CPU spikes with this version 1.0.3 (Cubase 12, Windows 11).

I didn't notice a problem at first with one instance, but when I added a second instance, the cpu spiking and audio dropouts happened.

I've gone back to 1.0.2 and it's stable again.

My question is this (and this is not sour grapes): if I already own a Wavestate with the free Editor/Librarian software, why would I need the Native VST? What more functionality would I gain from the VST that I don't already have? I can easily integrate the Wavestate with Ableton--do it all the ...

Personally I welcome the demise of VST2. For a start, it's a nightmare managing 2 versions. Developers install to all sorts of varied locations. VST3 is nice and neat always into one place. And if you got a project with a vst2 loaded, it becomes plgin missing if only the vst3 version is available ...

Hi, I have had a few crashes in Cubase 4 with the M1 when importing .fxb banks. It's been renamed to VOID-M1_legacy_pack.zip for some reason.
