Using the switches in combis
Hello, I have a simple combi in which I have a piano and a pad. Sometimes, I only want to hear the piano, in which case I (successfully) am able to mute the pad with one of the switches. However, when I hit the switch, an adverse effect occurs on the piano part which does its chorus effect. I tried ...

Lowering volume
Hi there, Is there a simple way to lower the master volume of a combi on the Korg Kross? Seems like such a simple thing but I can’t figure it out. And I’m not referring to lower the MIDI volume, because that seems to affect the tone of the sound as it limits what velocities are able to be played. I’m ...

Using the switches on the KROSS
Hello there, I have a simple combi with strings and choir layered onto each other - except, sometimes I’d like just the strings sounding, and other times I’d like both the strings and the choir to sound. It seems like there’s a way to mute the choir sound via one of the switches, but I can’t figure o ...

Switch Pedal Issue
Hi there. I have a sequence of patches that I cycle through when playing songs. However, when I use the switch pedal, it will sometimes cycle through an extra patch, registering 2 (or sometimes 3) hits on the pedal, instead of just 1. I've tried three different pedals and they all do the same thing ...

Saving Recording as MIDI File
Hi there, I've been trying to figure this out but am not able to. I know that you can save recorded audio on the Kross as a wav file, but can you do the same thing, except saving it as a MIDI file instead?

Changing the Range of the Pitch Wheel
Hi, I'm trying to change the lower range of the pitch wheel on a lead sound from down 2 half steps to down a whole octave (12 steps). However, when I change that, both the 2-half step AND the octave note sound at the same time when I pitch bend. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Recording with iPod
Hi, I'm recording some covers on the Kross using the audio recorder. I'm playing along to my iPod through the line-in, but is there a way to record myself playing WITHOUT the iPod song getting in the recording as well?
