Sure you can. Look at page 240 in the Reference Guide. The function is called "Ensemble On/Off".

Not an expert on this, but I think that you could use the "Pa80 Card Converter". You can download it from the usual place:

Tommy, That sounds nice, but I don't think I can use them. The vibrato varies way too much for me. While the PA in general has great sound...Some of the factory sounds that I think have quality issues in the Pa are: Harmonica 1 Vibrato Harmonica 2 Vibrato Cassotto 16 Key Click Cassotto Key Click ...

There is 128 Mbytes ROM inside both the Pa2x and the Pa800, but there is also 2 Gbit (256 Mbytes) Flash memory which is divided into SSD-S and SSD-U partitions, and there is both a small amount of internal RAM and 64 Mbytes user RAM on the Pa800 and 128 Mbytes RAM as standard on the Pa2x. The other ...

Pete, Just wanted to say thank you for keeping this forum somewhat sane these days. It must be an ungrateful job to be moderator here right now. I hope that we will soon get back to good old days when this was always a pleasent place to visit. I think that Korg has done a very good job with the OS 2 ...

Tommy, Unfortuneatly the samples AND multisamles are in ROM. Even with all the locks off, you can't modify any factory samples or multisamples. You are right that WE can't modify the factory samples, but I know for sure that on the Pa800 the factory samples are stored in the SSD and loaded into RAM ...

The factory samples on the Pa2x can not change because they are held in ROM (not reprogrammable). Are you completely sure about that? On the Pa800 all factory sounds are loaded from the SSD into RAM when the machine boots. During this "Loading PCM Data" is shown on the display and the loading takes ...

Tommy, I would be intersted in fiding out if you agree with my list of factory sounds needing improving?? Thanks, Lee I haven't forgot, but I have been so busy with OS 2.0 that I have not had time to investigate it further. It could also be interesting to know how well the competition (Yamaha ...

OS 2.0 : Import/Export SMF Separated by Markers

One of the new features described in the OS2 upgrade manual is support for markers in when importing/exporting midi files in style record mode. However very little information about how to use this feature is given. More information should be available on korgpa.com: "For detailed information on how ...

Hi Chris, Yes, you are right. I can reproduce it on my Pa800. On some of the new styles the style programmer has forgotten to set the fx sends for Upper 2+3. It is easy to do yourself: Go to Mixer Tuning/Volume Pan and make sure that there is a check mark in the dry boxes for Upper 2+3. The go to ...

Especially the entertainer organs are second to none if you want to play classic Klaus Wunderlich songs :) Kind ...

One question...when you play the sounds with natural vibrato NOTE to NOTE up/down the keyboard, how much does the vibato speed/depth differ? A small difference is fine and natural. There is some difference in both speed and depth. I don't find it unnatural when playing but this is of course a ...

I have both PEMO sound pack 1 and 2. I am very happy with the sounds. The price is high, but this is a professional made product. The multisamples have perfect looping and no artifacts. Please note that some of the sounds have been sampled with natural vibrato. This adds to the realism but gives ...
